This thread will give an overview of all known mining locations (pristine metallic rings) in space around the Sirius faction systems and suggestions on where to sell . The first post in this thread will be kept updated. Suggestions can be posted in the thread itself.
San, Pic Tok area
- Ngalia - Ngalia 9 has a pristine metallic ring. The mining outpost in the system gives Mining missions. Make sure you support the Sirius Hyperspace faction.
Sothis area

I think ngalia is a great place for newbies and pros to elite dangerous to begin mining actually.
9 pristine rings, nice and close to good outfitting, close but not in powerplay locations, a station in system ( less than 50ls from belt to station)
Plenty of mining missions and very high demand and prices.
And not a lot of traffic at present, and sirius inc runs regular ops, teamspeak and we are new player friendly, so the more the merrier.
We have been heavily involved in generating the sothis cyrstaline gold communtiy goal, and our recent efforts on the UA front have 2 stations of iapodes and 49 arietis at the forefront of the UA mystery that frontier developments has been rolling out. And its only abotu 71LY to the UA hutning fields and nearby black markets.
Industrial and high tech and rares traders have 30-80LY trading routes out to our area and back. Smuggling and trade missions at a good distance back to the bubble.
And with horizons planet based mining and settlements and other rare items will no doubt be very easily accessible.
Making our group and allies very well positioned for lots of fun, massive credit earning potential, nearby high tech fitting and access to ships. that is also in indepdant territory so more peaceful and less caught up in the federation/alliance/imperial empire building. But close enough that its less than an hour travel time to hotspots as well.
Earn quick income getting invovled in our area and then go and fight the wars of the big boys but have somewhere to come back to at the end of the day to relax and recredit, recoup and have fun.
