There is a pristine metallic ring in the Ngalia system, which holds great promise for Sirius Inc. Ngalia is 26 ly from San.

CMDR flexo and I conducted 2 short mining excursions... to random locations of the Ngalia 9 ring system. Now, more than ever, I am excited about the possibility of co-op mining.

I realized 2,726,723 credits of profit by selling the 1st load to Selous Horizons, San. The 2nd load is being used to fill rare mineral contracts in Ngalia. Presently, our home system (San) does not offer them.

Yeah, I got a python full of painite, palladium and platinum there day before yesterday. I did some exploring around San and Pic Tok yesterday but didn't find any other systems with resources like this in the area.

I'm hoping Pic Tok will start giving mining missions too so we can support Sirius Inc as it's an industrial economy.

Cobra Prospector:

This ship was designed and tested to fulfill the role of a dedicated, low-cost site prospector. The initial concept has, for the most part, proven sound. This ship opens a role for commanders that cannot afford a well equipped mining platform, but would still like to contribute to a 3-4 member mining operation.

Can carry up to 52 of it's own limpets into a site. Also has a collector module to facilitate in-situ replenishment of limpets from other wingmates.

The prospector idea is cool. I'd add mining lasers though. Each member of a mining party can get a full load of ore from the same rock. So having a bunch of small ships with mining lasers and a prospector limpet controller and one big ship with a refinery and collectors is a very profitable way to mine.
