Greetings CMDRs,
Allow me to introduce myself - I'm CMDR Davos Seaworth, Director of Diplomacy for Sirius Gov which is the player group residing at /r/EliteSirius where I am also a mod. As of today we have 514 subscribers but I'm aware that not everyone is either aware of our sub or prefers not to use reddit.
As part of a new effort to build relations between Sirius Gov. and Sirius-aligned player groups, I'm going to be spending more time gathering feedback and hearing concerns about issues which may effect us both, particularly inter-Power diplomacy.
In order for us to be a strong a respected power in the Galactic arena, we must present a united front.
So if you have any questions you'd like to put to me, please discuss below.
Yours,
Davos Seaworth

Hi Davos, thanks for dropping by! I spend a great deal of time at /r/EliteSirius, especially during the last 4-6 hours of PP cycle. Sirius Gov has good statisticians.
However, there are some trends which I find disturbing:
1) Burnout; declining participation in PP activities. 2) Continued erosion of Sirius Gov by Hudson-aligned player groups. 3) Self-identified members of Sirius Gov provoking Hudson PP on their own subreddit.

1.) Agree burnout is occouring but this is a game wide issue. 1.5 will bring them back for a period of time ( eve online had this thing for many years after each expansion) 2.) Leaving that up to the diplomats for now. 3.) They do enough egging on of each other that we dont really need to help them along to much on that front (again hoping the diplomats if an agreement is reached convince their own people to ease up a bit)
3a) My guess is maybe 1.5 but probably 1.6 in jan-feb Fdev might create that freedom fighter mechanic allowing local minor factions and player groups to cast off the oppression of a power at a local level. (Could be helpful in times of outright aggression to make peaceful overtures to local player factions on the border to slow the advance) think proxy wars but that is a way off yet. And will most likley coincide with the addition of 5-10 more PP factions on top of those we have.
