It has just been confirmed that there will be a community goal shortly to create a new station in a nebula. From the poll on the Frontier forum it looks like it will be the Pleiades. forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=189532forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=186120Nothing has been officially said about this yet. But it seems very likely that this will be start in a few days and I would be very surprised if this would not be a Sirius led CG. A station in a Nebula seems something Sirius would be building. My guess would be that we need to bring metals somewhere just like with the Yembo CG. It might have something to do with the Galnet article about HIP 8396 from the 15th about mining Osmium. community.elitedangerous.com/galnet/uid/561f7b109657badb5a202699

Good eye! It's hard to say whether participation is advisable or not. There is no direct Sirius connection and the Pleiades are very far from Sol/San/Lembava.
But after Sothis, this would be a walk in the park.
Edit: I misspoke. Kaushpoos is not that far away... 136ly from Lembava, on the edge of Mahonaise territory.

Metal prices are currently missing from EDDB/EDDN. I remember this happened during previous CG (Sothis). Here is a snapshot of the commodities market in Kaushpoos... Attachments:

I just tested a route for use by Sirius Gov CMDRS... It allows you to fortify, prep, participate in this CG, and turn a nice profit.
1) Goldstein Port, Lembava (Industrial Equipment, Perf. Enhancers/Cons.Tech) >> 2) Xiaoguan Terminal, Amijara (Palladium, or other precious metals) >> 3) Fontenay City, Apadecavi (Franchise Packages, Cons.Tech) >> 4) Sharma Holdings, HR 2776 (Palladium, or other precious metals) >> 5) Neville Horizons, Kaushpoos... for purposes of Community Goal.
6a) Goldstein Port, Lembava (empty hold)
OR
6b) Intermediate "pit stop", to load up on precious metals for sale in Lembava (??)
OR
6c) Intermediate "pit stop" to help Lembava Commodities in the Aasgananu system. It's Lembava-adjacent.
(WARNING: M-PAD ONLY!)

we can work on boosting exports volumes in a permanent way in nearby systems we just need to exhaust supply of each good each day over a week in smaller systems. gold and silver and palladium in pic tok for starters to san. water purifiers and power gen and mineral extractors back the other way. all of the above to ioapides but sub mineral extractors for atmospheric processors

It would be nice to see exploration CGs which are not generic honk & scoot. Maybe unique beacon types, in dangerous locations?

It would be nice to see exploration CGs which are not generic honk & scoot. Maybe unique beacon types, in dangerous locations? They could even do a lot more with the game mechanics they already have in place. A CG to find as many earth-likes for terraforming, or metal-rich planets would already work. And it would make people look a bit closer at the systems they're exploring. Now most people just scan as many systems and planets as possible without looking at what they're actually scanning.

I'd also like to see more attention paid to the life-bearing Jovians, or Ammonia worlds. I feel like xenobiologists, even in 34th century, would be studying these intently...

i hope they introduce such thimgs in the future. ill be grabbing no mans sky in early dec when it is out as well I like the art style, but worry it may be a case of "Spore with larger Spaceship component". How much variation of alien biology can that engine model, I wonder?
