Just an idea we might try out after seeing something like it mentioned on the Fdev forum for the Onionhead CG.
Rare commodities trading was balanced early in the beta because people in bigger ships could use it to make loads of money. You can now only buy a limited amount of any one rare commodity.
But it should still be possible to buy up rares while having another pilot sitting outside the station. Dump the rares for him to pick up, repeat until his ship is full. This might take a while but if you fill up an Anaconda this way you'll still make around 10 million per trip. You can probably make more some other way but this might be fun to try out.
Of course there are a few unknowns.
- Will new stock of the commodity become available quickly enough to make this profitable? - Are there other limitations we don't know about? Is it possible to scoop up rares after you have your fill etc.

Another way if u want to be a pirate, is to fly around in the rare systems, blowing up npc traders and the systems rares tend to drop from them in small amounts as well. Cargo hatchbreker module is good in these circumstances

Spamming San (or Pic Tok) with certain "themed" rare commodities is something Ollo and I have discussed. For testing purposes though, it's best to choose a rare commodity with high allocation. Jotun Mookah (if you have the associated permit) immediately comes to mind. Also, 2+ collection limpets on rares-hauler. If anybody would like to wing up in the next 72h or so, please let me know!

Jotun Mookah is 10t right? We should be able to do better than that. There are several of them with 20t or more allocations. Also it would be good if the system we're importing from would be around 140 to 160 ly from the San/Pic Tok area. Any closer diminishes the profit you make on the commodity. Further away will work but will take more time to fly there and back of course. I'll try to scout out a good candidate system this evening.

Long range and keeping in with our sirius corporation links, id like to propose sothis crystaline gold to pic tok ( yes its longer range) but exploration data along the way.

I was thinking along the same lines. We can also drop off the gold in HIP 8396. That's probably closer to the optimal distance. Unfortunately it's an outpost so no Anaconda or T-9.
